I wasn’t sure about this book and have still not made up my mind. There were parts where I laughed out loud, parts that were brutally adult and other parts I thought darn right silly.
I was never taking in by the ‘deception’ though that didn’t bother me and unlike others I found the author’s interjections added to the story rather than detracted.
I adored the character of Inigo Montoya and also liked Fessik but found Buttercup annoying in the extreme.
And the ending was a disappointing anti-climax.
